Monsoon dust gets everywhere. Vacuuming the surface is not the same as pulling grit from the backing. That grit is abrasive, allergenic, and great at holding odor.
Why extraction?
Hot water extraction (what people call steam cleaning) injects solution and immediately recovers it. Done properly, carpets dry in hours, not days, and they should not feel sticky. Sticky means leftover soap—the reason rental machines make carpets dirty faster.
We match chemistry to fiber and soil. A wool berber is not a polyester frieze. A “one wand, one soap” truck is how you felt wool or leave residue. If someone in the house is sensitive, say so; we have lower-odor options. The goal is soil out, not perfume in.
