What “restoration” can mean
- Reweave — rebuild missing knots into the original structure.
- Patch — a matched insert when budget or damage size says so.
- Fringe and edge — stop unraveling before it walks into the field.
- Color work — careful restoration of worn or sun-shifted areas. This is delicate; we won’t pretend every fade reverses.
- Stain and pet odor — a wash with the right chemistry, including urine neutralization, before anyone dyes over a problem.
We inspect, photograph, and quote. A $400 rug does not get a $2,000 reweave unless you ask for it. A family heirloom might. Cleaning with WoolSafe solutions is often step one: you should see the real fiber before you pay for needlework.
