What helps
- Hot-water wash of sheets and washable bedding on a real hot cycle.
- Allergen covers on mattress and pillows.
- Hot water extraction of carpets and fabric furniture—not a scented powder.
- Lower indoor humidity where you can; mites like damp.
You do not need an exterminator for mites. You need less habitat. If the household is reactive, say so when you book so we plan chemistry and dry time around that, and so we don’t skip the sofa that sits in the same room as the carpet.
